Multiple creators linked their Art Fight profiles (for example artfight.net/~Fearcrowz, artfight.net/~skipkey, artfight.net/~WootInABoot, artfight.net/~kuromiz and artfight.net/~Arkvander) and named their teams such as Team Mystery, Team Tragedy and Team Comedy. Several artists said this is their first time joining while others warned they might not be able to participate because of burnout or scheduling conflicts; one creator said they are recovering from top surgery but will try to participate. A number of artists reported finishing last pieces, updating character cards, or planning live drawing sessions to produce attacks during the event. Preparations range from polished character uploads to quick profile cards and sketches being finalized in the final hours before the fight begins.
