At WWE Night of Champions 2026 in Riyadh, IYO SKY defeated Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring finals to become the 2026 Queen of the Ring. The match was described as an intense, well-played final in which IYO worked through a hurt knee and sold Morgan's attacks before securing the victory. Danhausen had confronted Liv Morgan and issued a curse on her earlier in the card before the final. Immediately after winning the crown, IYO SKY announced she will challenge Liv Morgan again for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam.
