Black-and-white photography spotlight

Black-and-white photography spotlight is a community theme showcasing monochrome portraits, landscapes, macros, and architectural studies in film and digital work. Entries range from close-up Western Salsify flower macros and high-contrast badlands landscapes in northwest New Mexico to street and portrait work such as a Huntington Beach self-portrait shot on an Olympus OM2n with Ilford FP4 and a Turn-of-the-Century skyscraper in Central Park showing early Art Deco double-tower details. Standout images include the landing light of an A4 Skyhawk shot on Bronica with Ilford HP5 at an aviation museum, a WACO reunion airplane photo from Mount Vernon, Ohio, and a trailing yew laundry scene from Monhegan Island. Look for moody cityscapes of Toronto and Paris, impressionistic desert vistas, and intimate black-and-white portrait studies in the gallery.
