The Bear Season 5 debuts as the show's final season
In some ways, the fifth and final season of The Bear feels less daring — but after four seasons, the small wins mean more. n.pr/4eK84jI
This season is a little slow to start, but by the end of the seven episodes I saw (they didn’t give critics the finale), I was very in love with the show again.
This is the worst multi-season show where I have seen every wretched episode. I hate it and I hope the restaurant explodes from a gas leak in the final episode.
I’ve seen all of The Bear s5 but the series finale. Thoughts (without spoilers) on whether the show abandoned Very Special Episodes for the home stretch, or just made one really long one: www.whatsalanwatching.com/review-the-b...
I just started reading this, but I wanted to make sure I said: I think “Forks” is one of the best hours of television I’ve ever watched. And I’m not a young person. It’s a real masterpiece.
"Oliver Garden" is a delightful little typo that snuck into your review, and I have to assume @briancgrubb.bsky.social would love it as a name for a new TV character — perhaps in a limited series telling the history of how Oliver Garden conceived of his almost eponymous restaurant idea.
not sure if this is embargoed info, but does The Bear season 5 acknowledge Rob Reiner/his character at all?
