A Russian drone struck a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy on June 25, injuring four people and causing property damage, Sumy Oblast military administration said. Regional authorities initially reported three civilians wounded and later raised the casualty toll to four. The Sumy administration said the strike is part of a pattern of attacks on gas stations and other fuel infrastructure across the region. A series of strikes across Sumy Oblast on June 24 injured at least 15 civilians, including three children, and Ukrainian air defenses shot down a Russian drone over Sumy during the same period. The regional administration warned the repeated hits are complicating community life and local logistics and pledged continued monitoring and response to protect fuel sites.
