Matthew Guy denies Moira Deeming assault allegation

Victorian MP Moira Deeming has accused former state Liberal leader Matthew Guy of putting her in a headlock at a community event; Mr Guy vehemently denies the allegation. Victoria Police have opened an investigation into the alleged assault. Published security footage shows Mr Guy placing a hand on Deeming's back during the encounter. Mr Guy is considering legal advice to sue his party-room colleague for defamation over the claim. The matter remains under police inquiry and could lead to criminal findings and separate civil defamation action depending on the investigation's outcome.

Moira's life is one long distraction from the fact she's something approaching an abortion abolitionist. See her sermon below.
Moira makes her career out of making women into victims. "We're victims of trans people who just need to pee." Over and over.
This is wrong and demeaning. We're strong.
Trans people are almost *never* the worry. Bad cis men are the problem all the time.
Moira gives cover for the constant violence by cis men (and the system eg making it hard for rural women to get reproductive healthcare) by her performative victimhood.
Women can be survivors and/or victims of bad men every day, but we're hurt not helped by Moira's snarling at shadows.
Then Moira will join the gathering forces who want to chip away at our control over our own bodies, until Australian women (like American women) are dying from miscarriages that doctors are too scared to treat.
