Ukraine Special Operations destroy railway bridge over North Crimean Canal
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces said they destroyed the railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near Rozdolne in Russian-occupied Crimea, declaring the bridge "no longer exists." The SSO said the strike hit a rail crossing on the Kerch line that carried trains moving cargo, equipment and personnel into the peninsula, and Russian authorities have not commented. By severing that rail link, the operation further constrains Russian logistics, tightens the isolation of Crimea and complicates resupply of forces on the southern front.
🚨There are widespread reports of explosions across occupied Crimea, and the temporary closure of the Kerch Bridge. At this point, Russian military logistics seem to have all the stability of a folding card table in a hurricane. #SlavaUkraïni 🇺🇦
June has been a big month for Ukraine, and a very bad one for Russia. Ukraine's strikes have been surgical, while Russia is "once the rockets go up who cares where they come down?" I think Ukraine has shown great restraint by not slapping down some of the Kremlin.
One step at a time. Slow and methodical. It’s not about the killing. It’s about the ability to destroy the ability to kill. And the will to fight. Logistics, logistics, logistics. It will break Russia. Ukraine will win no matter how painful. You can never break a people willing to fight.
The Kremlin is rediscovering the geographical realities based on which Crimea was repeatedly returned to Ukraine.
I hope Ukraine wipes them off the map! 👍
Ukraine has the upper hand. Help them finish Putin off. I just purchased a server for this Ukrainian Armed Forces unit. @dzygaspaw.com dzygaspaw.com
Ukraine holds all the cards. I was expecting them to give the Russians the opportunity to flee before destroying the bridge. Major hardships are coming for those that are left in Crimea. They will have to surrender to the West. Good luck.
Now if the FSB would just defenestrate that despicable tyrant.
Oh please let them take down the bridge!
Drone warfare is successfully disrupting military thinking and strategies everywhere.
Looks like Pootie be losin' de war but winnin' hims Jeroboam o' Wodka.
From the halls of Fedosia to the shores of Sevastapol! Ukraine marine brigades going to plant the flag!
CNN is saying Crimea's oil depot was hit. 💪👍
Ukraine is poised to take back Crimea, which will be a giant gut punch to Putin. Crimea is a key naval and shipping port. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG7g...
I often think about the process the average Russian in Crimea went through in moving there. How callous does one have to be moving into a house/flat/apartment with someone else’s possessions already in it. They can’t complain if they have to get out in a hurry, like the actual owners did ?
Perhaps less. We’re talking the level of Gillian’s Island now.
Looks like Ukraine may *checks notes* ‘Hold some of the cards’ This despite the best efforts of the Trump administration.
I will laugh my ass off of Ukraine manages to take back Crimea.
/1. Something I've been waiting to see for a long time: drone operators striking Russian logistics at one of the key bottlenecks of the land corridor to Crimea — right in the middle of a pontoon crossing next to the damaged Chonhar Bridge.
/2. If Kerch Bridge ever stops functioning, crossings like this will become unavoidable death traps for Russian logistics. Every convoy, fuel truck and supply column heading into Crimea will be forced through the same narrow choke points, turning them into prime hunting grounds for drone operators.
Chonhar is going to be a truck slaughterhouse as long as the Russian forces dare using it. As it should be.
I've been saying it for 4 years - make Crimea untenable and the Russians will leave. For the first time Ukraine has effective fire control of the northern entrances. This is a fantastic development.
Could it be that Ukraine secretly destroyed the company responsible for the Russians' camouflage paint? That’s already the third blue truck being used by the Russians.
Love the high quality cameras too!
The most famous selfie of a ruZZian on a pontoon bridge when they discovered that Ukraine's artillery had it dialled in, awaiting the perfect time to strike.
Occupied Crimea updates: The great escape from occupied Crimea appears to be underway. The only problem is that getting out is not so easy. More than 1,000 vehicles are stuck in queues for the Crimean Bridge, while traffic across the crossing has already been suspended for the fourth time today.
The waiting time for a security check for cars wishing to leave Crimea is 3 hours. That works out at 125 days.😁
Escaping Ukrainian sanctions will get more difficult by the day if you can’t fill up your car‘s gas tank. Can’t wait to see Russians fleeing on foot, bicycles or horse back like Germans fleeing from Hitler’s land grab areas. They really deserve this and they might learn their lesson as Germany has.🤷🏻♀️
Pity the heatwave hasn't struck the traffic jam
My heart bleeds for them
My heart bleeds for them. Not
It's OK, they can walk home
In Crimea, driving is banned between 10pm and 6am. This includes the self-governing biggest city, Sevastopol. Meanwhile around 1,000 vehicles are still queuing at the bridge, trying to leave the illegally annexed peninsula.
Friday night's attack by Ukraine on the occupiers' deployment point in Luhansk region, is confirmed. Publishing these pics from Krasny Luch, 'Spy Dossier' says two Russian soldiers died and 8 injured, while barracks + a warehouse were destroyed and a repair shop almost destroyed.
Everyone around the world should see and hear this. If you don't have gas, you're screwed. Most of the time, your electricity runs on oil or coal—when the supplies run out, you're screwed. Solar energy > Electricity > Oil crap Welcome to the 21 Century.
We in west EU have a heatwave which might come handy there. let me see these pale folks roast with limited fuel for the aircon, one day or so.
