Pro-EU demonstrators held the National Rejoin March in central London on Saturday 20 June 2026, assembling at Temple from noon and rallying on Parliament Square at 2:30pm. Marchers called for a new referendum and for Britain to rejoin the European Union, arguing re-entry would restore single market access and freedom of movement. Former EU negotiator Michel Barnier said the UK could keep special pre-Brexit terms if it rejoined, and organisers cited polling showing 56% in England, 61% in Wales and 75% in Scotland now think leaving was wrong. Organisers positioned the march as a tenth-anniversary response to the 23 June 2016 referendum and said rejoining would address economic and political setbacks since Brexit, making the question central to upcoming national debates.
