Forbidden Door PPV card has only two interpromotional matches
AEW's Forbidden Door pay-per-view card lists seven matches but includes only two interpromotional bouts. Jon Moxley accepted a challenge for the AEW Continental Title at Forbidden Door, and Cope and Cage formally challenged The Dogs for a match. The announced lineup names 29 wrestlers overall and is dominated by AEW roster members rather than outside-promotion talent. That tilt toward AEW talent undercuts the event's cross-promotional premise and matters because real-world visa issues could further limit international participants.

Craig Ballantyne2Nobody would complain if it was sold as just an AEW ppv, but they set expectations for a cross-promotional ppv and then won't deliver. Even if they throw in some random matches, all the top stars are already accounted for
I know people keep referring to the cage match as the main for Forbidden Door but I don't know how that show doesn't end with Will vs. Swerve. 🤼♂️
B 💖💜💙3Yea, I don't see the cage match closing out the night either. Its a throw away match. "Triple main event" my ass. I can easily see it being Women's Owen, Cage Match, Men's Owen.
Gen2the only way Will v Swerver closes is if the cagematch goes before both Owen Finals, which IS possible especially now that its confirmed that Soup is the only person signed to NJPW in the entire 12 person match.
