Marvel and Sony set the official Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer for June 17 and scheduled the film to open in U.S. theaters on July 31. Tom Holland and Zendaya attended a photocall in Amsterdam this week, posing with new posters and branded popcorn buckets tied to the movie. Holland said he spent hours watching YouTube videos and listening to podcasts to study Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield suits while helping design his new Spider-Man costume. The trailer date, photocall and redesigned suit set expectations for a refreshed Spider-Man heading into the summer release.

Koppaitalks6That's not a good idea. The Spider-Man fan base can be extremely toxic and have the absolute worst takes. After previous encounters with them, I still have yet to repair my connection with Spider-Man as a character.
