Supporters repurposed the University of Kansas "Rock Chalk" chant into "Rock Chalk Algeria" during Algeria's World Cup match against Argentina at KC Stadium in Kansas City. The Kansas marching band opened a session with the Algerian national anthem while KU alumni and local groups wore custom Algeria kits and led the hybrid chant on buses and in the stands.
