FrightClub watch parties spotlight The Blob and Beware the Blob

FrightClub is staging themed watch parties queuing the 1958 film The Blob and the 1972 sequel Beware! The Blob for group screenings. Screenings feature the original novelty theme written by Burt Bacharach with lyrics by Mack David and performed by Bernie Knee's studio group The Five Blobs, alongside Mort Garson's electronic-tinged score for Beware! The Blob. A newly available high-quality transfer highlights cinematographer Thomas Spalding's work and makes the films and their unusual soundtracks easier to rediscover for cult-horror and soundtrack collectors.
