Bluesky adds group chats but DMs still can't send images

Bluesky rolled out group chats, letting users create multi-person conversations inside the app. The update also reintroduced image carousels for posts, but direct messages and chat windows still cannot attach, upload, or copy-paste image files. That restriction prevents sharing screenshots or photos privately and limits the new chats' usefulness for common messaging tasks.

Personally, I won't use either of these. QR codes become unstable if the security is not regularly updated. prone to hacking. and group chats, really? did anybody actually ask for that? this isn't MSN messenger.
