Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake confirmed for Switch 2
Nintendo announced during its latest Direct that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and will arrive this year. The reveal consisted of a short teaser rather than extended gameplay and Nintendo did not provide a firm release date. Because the 1998 original reshaped 3D action-adventure design, the remake modernizes its visuals, mechanics, and audio and will serve as one of Switch 2's headline releases this year.
Another unpopular take: we dont need an Ocarina of Time remake. It's fine the way it is and Zelda has been marinating in the same juice for a decade now. Time to move on to something else. ECHOES OF WISDOM was a good step of what they should be doing.
That's right commanders, I'll cancel Nintendo, I still remember that ICE Pikachu bullshit and that Japan could absolutely lay down the law if it felt like it
It’s weird to do a remake instead of just a port like the deeply successful 3DS ports a decade or so ago.
Tbh haven't really seen anything more than lukewarm reactions, and I agree. I don't really see much one could possibly get from the game that they couldn't from just playing the original on NSO
