Kingdom Hearts 4 announced in Nintendo Direct
Square Enix unveiled Kingdom Hearts IV during Nintendo Direct, debuting a cinematic trailer that opens with Sora walking through a photorealistic, Tokyo-like district called Quadratum. The trailer shows Sora in modern clothing, emphasizes more realistic visuals, and introduces unfamiliar hostile creatures alongside his Keyblade. Kingdom Hearts IV is the next mainline entry after Kingdom Hearts III and continues the franchise's crossover of Disney and Square Enix worlds. This matters because the shift in tone and setting sets up resolution of long-running plotlines and represents a major new direction for the series.
To all those debating the Kingdom Hearts collection box being AI made, I believe we have our answer!! Courtesy of Deku Draws on Twitter
Dear every company ever: please stop using Photoshop's AI fill feature you do not have to use the AI fill feature
So it *is* AI, just not genetative being cleaned up. Some poor sod just took a hatchet to Nomura's work It makes more sense though, because most of the wonkiness I saw people pointing out were weird perspective / unusual shape choices, but most of it didn't seem melty or overly uniform
i mean like. how the hell would this guy know. does he work at square?
oh shoot, didn't realize Deku had a BlueSky account. If you're seeing this, my apologies. Everyone plz go follow @dekudraws.bsky.social
I still find it weird he drew KH2 Sora’s hand like that
i need for two of the soras to not have identical facial expressions, either give the third one the same one or make them all different 😔
KH1 and KH2 Sora are in the same pose with the same facial expression. Either it's AI or it's Nomura's most soulless piece yet. I'm leaning towards the former.
KINGDOM HEARTS - Nintendo Switch Cloud Versions are delisting today. Players who own the versions can play until June 9, 2027. Players who own Cloud Versions can purchase Switch 2 versions at a discounted price support.na.square-enix.com/news.php?id=...
They should get them for free the hell
“Discounted price” is so embarrassing. Idk anyone who would have bought the cloud versions but it’s such an obvious scam lmao
And yet people will continue to oppose Stop Killing Games
and this is why you never buy the cloud version
taking something away from someone and then telling them to buy it again is bully behavior
"Discounted price" just give them to those people for free bro you're taking the way to even play it away.
Honestly you deserve this for buying a cloud version of a game
So you buy something, Nintendo decides to delist it, and now you have to pay more to get it again? PHUCK THAT.
With steam, you can still access the games you've brought even if the game was delisted. While these KH games was the worst ports, this is really shitty to do.
Oh no it's the thing we all said would happen
eat a fucking dick square
Unless the discounted price is $0.00, they can fuck off and hopefully get a class action lawsuit.
Terrible news for the 100 or so "owners".
Next time don't buy scams kids. idk what y'all were expecting. Sucks it takes having this happen be what teaches you not to buy garbage.
So cloud gaming, even if you straight up pay for it, is just highway robbery.
Even giving away the Switch 2 version for free wouldn't make up for it, continuing to use this thing you purchased would still require owning a whole new console. This is some fuck shit
As much as I think they should be free for anyone who bought the cloud version, idk what u were expecting if u were dumb enough to buy a cloud game
The fact that there is a deadline on playing a single player game and the “make good” is a discount is total BS. THIS is why I prefer physical media whenever possible.
So it was essentially a glorified digital rental after all
