Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 digitally July 23, with physical key-card editions following later. Creators are reimagining iconic sequences across both games as painted portraits, short comics, animatics, cosplay, and soundtrack remixes. Work concentrates on Tidus and Yuna's Zanarkand flashback and the final Sin battle, Auron's stoic moments, and X-2's Yuna performances and dresspheres. Standout projects include orchestral remixes of the score, dramatic animatics of the Zanarkand scenes, and Auron cosplays emphasizing his cloak and katana.

a lil more info: - producer Keisuke Nakashima + director Hiroto Furuya love FFV and it shows - Team Asano advised - story is an adaptation of Brave Exvius' first season with new unique story stuff, everything else built from the ground up - said to be 30-40 hours mainline, 60-80 for completionists
