SpaceX IPO filing highlights AI and Starship plans; Musk teases slimmer Starlink dishes
SpaceX's IPO filing lays out plans to build AI-capable Starlink satellites and to scale Starship production for commercial missions. The filing describes satellites as on-orbit data centers that will perform edge AI and prioritizes capital to mass-produce Starship for regular launches and cargo transport. Elon Musk previewed two thinner, travel-friendly Starlink dish models in a recent interview, showing sleeker terminals aimed at portable and in-vehicle broadband. Those moves could lower latency for AI workloads, broaden global broadband access, and create new markets for orbital compute and fast space cargo.
Author @quinnslobodian.com says Elon Musk's business empire and his work for the Trump administration are closely connected. DOGE was not about demolishing the government, but a way to "refashion and reformat" it so that Musk and his companies become "an indispensable part of the infrastructure."
The worst thing Americans could hear is “I’m Elon Musk, and I’m here to help.”
... while simultaneously collecting American tax payer funded subsidies.
If anyone needs to be stripped of citizenship & deported Elon Musk in the NUMBER ONE TARGET. He has used money to ensure his dangerous products are sold in the US & that his dangerous businesses are built to the determent of all Americans. He is one explosion away from a disaster of biblical note 😼
Of course. No surprise. Gutting government so oligarchs can assume services and profits has been a conservative project for decades.
Up to $1tn of SpaceX’s IPO value rests on Elon Musk htting multiple moonshots, including reaching Mars with reusable rockets and putting data centres into orbit. "You’re paying for a possible but not nearly entirely likely scenario," said one analyst. Read the story on #FTEdit 👉 ft.trib.al/JsaeSPl
The valuation is a complete work of fiction.
“Possible”? It’s complete fantasy, science fiction.
Paying for lies. I remember when musk was going to build a train between LA and SF. Also when he was going to end world hunger. He bought space x from scientists that actually did the science. Another opportunistic narcissist
What are the expected earnings? Oh, there aren’t any? No flying data center sales data? How many tickets to Mars have you sold? How much do you earn from AI?
I love how the bulk of SpaceX's revenue now is renting out data centres built out of chips they buy from nvidia, but somehow they're valued several times over nvidia itself. Complete con job.
With Anthropic and OpenAI also targeting trillion dollar IPOs, what could possibly go wrong?
