Ridley Scott takes the fun out of these kinds of stories. Sorry. I love him for other things but his whole, "Robin Hood but super serious," and that one about Arthur render me underwhelmed by the idea of this project.

A great Ridley Scott flex was when he made PROMETHEUS (‘not a prequel to Alien’), the start of a new trilogy that would lead to the start of the original ALIEN, made a second chapter called ALIEN: COVENANT and then the studio gave up. What I’m saying is Ridley should announce a new ALIEN trilogy
