Scary Movie reboot opens to $55M, franchise record

Horror films had another strong weekend at North American theaters, and “Scary Movie” and “Obsession” both broke records.

The summer box office is booming — but not because of the usual suspects.

So let me get this straight. Scary Movie had a joke about Trump being on the Epstein files that was cut from the movie that’s literally advertised as crossing all boundaries? But the “joke” about group-stabbing a non-binary person because PRONOUNS was kept in?

If nothing else, Ellison's argument that PSKY can't survive without another merger looks a little flimsy when a movie of theirs is doing good. Still, we absolutely have to make sure Supergirl does better, if for no other reason than it'll anger the chuds who like the new Scary Movie.

I rather go and see this, instead of Scary Movie any day

Hopefully word of mouth helps this movie. I refuse to accept Scary Movie VI to be the winning movie.

I'm not sure if Scary Movie is a horror film...

I do hope that Scary Movie 6 doesn’t outperform this…

Scary Movie topped the box office. It didn't take long for Cinema to be "Dead" again....for the thousandth time youtu.be/itjmKlYjUak?...

Some of the jokes in scary movie 6 were a bit stupid but I thought it was entertaining overall. Some of the jokes gave scary movie 1 energy and it was hilarious 🙂‍↕️

Content warning: Queerphobic violence In case you somehow didn’t already have enough of a reason to avoid Scary Movie 6 like the plague.

Genuinely trying to think of why the hell there's a new Scary Movie

Box office bull market: 'Scary Movie' delivers franchise record opening as U.S. box office jumps 61% Year-to-date domestic ticket sales reached $3.97 billion, a 13.4% increase from the same period last year. @seekingalpha

How the hell did 'Scary Movie' achieve any records other than "most egregious cinematic hate-speech"?

idk what type of cinema niggas is expecting from the Scary Movie franchise lmfaooo
