Thief: The Dark Project remaster announced for Switch and consoles
Nightdive Studios and Atari revealed Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, a rebuilt edition of the 1998 stealth classic, and set it to release this winter on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Eidos Montreal is credited alongside Nightdive and Atari, the remaster will appear on Steam and GOG, and new key art plus production credits were unveiled. This release matters because Thief established first-person stealth conventions; the remaster brings its sound-driven level design and stealth systems to modern hardware and controllers.
