Persona 6 teasers spark Shin Megami Tensei comparisons

Kept thinking it was a new Shin Megami Tensei game what with the grim tone. Interesting.

my one hope for p6 is that they remember that persona is a megami tensei spinoff and get scary with it For Real p5 hype and aura moments were cool but can we get sinister with it again -

ok is videogames over what games did they make today aside from persona 4 for the 10th time and shin megami tensei: persona 6 nobody tells me about anything else

this game better have a distinct horror focus to it or else I'm gonna be very pissed at Atlus baiting me into thinking this was Shin Megami Tensei 6 lol

Watching it back, that Persona 6 teaser almost could have worked as a Shin Megami Tensei 6 announcement. That probably would have been a monkey's paw "6th Atlus RPG" reveal for someone, but I would have been just as excited for it. Maybe next year.

Judging by that teaser trailer... I can't wait for Persona 6 to be dark and edgy and the IGN review to read that it doesn't have the heart of Shin Megami Tensei

Very happy to see Yu and the investigation team again in Persona 4 Revival. Very excited to get it! And while it was only a teaser, really excited to see Persona 6 going in on the horror elements/back to Megami Tensei roots. Here’s hoping they stick to it in the final product!

despite p5 and p3 being two of my favorite games ever ive never finished p4g lol, so excited for revival to see if that can motivate me to finally get through it persona 6 just from that teaser looks so much different than what i expected and i fucking love it. i love the proper smt/maybe p2 vibes

They faked me out with this, I thought it was going to be another Shin Megami Tensei. DUDE FINALLY WE ARE LEAVING THE PERSONA 5 DESIGN LANGUAGE BEHIND! It's about time. The logo looks like old school Persona to me. Finally they are making it a little more like Shin Megami Tensei again. 1
