Clockwork Revolution gets 2027 release window, Xbox exclusive
Clockwork Revolution, inXile Entertainment's time-bending first-person steampunk RPG set in the city of Avalon, closed the Xbox Games Showcase with a new trailer called "The Heist" and a 2027 release window. The trailer showcased first-person combat, time-manipulation mechanics, and a choice-driven world that reacts to player decisions. Xbox confirmed the title as an Xbox console exclusive, narrowing the consoles that will get the new IP at launch and underscoring Microsoft's emphasis on exclusive releases.
Clockwork Revolution out 2027 - Xbox Console Exclusive (for PC/Xbox) www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgPS...
Console exclusives coming back is genuinely surprising.
why would they call it xbox console exclusive if it is on steam store.steampowered.com/app/2439280/...
This trailer was significantly worse than the last time they showed it man. I guess i wasn’t expecting it to have Borderlands writing
Ah an exclusive oh well, wanted to play it but it is what it is
Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution are "not timed exclusives" according to Xbox. "Games already announced for multiplatform releases will stick to that plan – we’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond." www.theverge.com/news/945428/...
I give it a year tops before they are announced for PS and other platforms.
What about Senua though, that was not announced
What constitutes a multiplatform release plan? Clockwork Revolution is sltated for release on Steam but at the same time they're expressly saying it's a "console exclusive".
This is the meme of putting the stick in the bike spokes. Finally have steady game output only to get to a point where they ask, "Why aren't people buying Xboxes?"
Oh, this is going to get spicy!
Strange that Xbox targets PC players with their expensive Gamepass Ultimate plan and then tells them they can’t have all games. Notwithstanding the fact that the new Xbox will essentially be a Windows PC. It just doesn’t make sense.
It sounds like an test, lets see if people really buy exclusive games on xbox if not we already know whats gonna happen
