Microsoft opened its Xbox Showcase with a gameplay trailer for Gears of War: E-Day, which recreates the day the Locust horde emerged and will launch October 6, 2026. The Vancouver-developed title will be an Xbox console exclusive, and Microsoft also confirmed it will release on PC and be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. As a major first-party exclusive and a Game Pass day-one release, E-Day is positioned to anchor Xbox’s 2026 lineup and drive console purchases and subscription value.

So they released Gears of War 1 remastered on the PS5 to get players excited for E-Day and now they are keeping E-Day exclusive. Okay. I loved the Gears franchise up to Gears3 but I’ll pass. Not buying an Xbox for 1 game

Pffft hahahaha Microsoft is going back to console exclusives. Oh they are so fucking done. Like, people have been saying we're seeing the slow walk death of AAA gaming and perhaps even consoles in general (or at least how we know them) but DAMN MS way to start your fucking new push to consumers.
