Atari and Pipeworks announced Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, launching November 3, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The remaster is rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 and restores the four-player kaiju brawler with updated HD visuals, online multiplayer and quality-of-life improvements. Physical and digital editions are planned, with retail preorders listing prices roughly between $29.99 and $39.99. The November release arrives alongside Toho's new Godzilla film, giving players a timely way to jump back into the franchise.

You can definitely see that the logo was just supposed to be "Godzilla : Destroy all monsters" and the "Melee" was added at the last minute to take advantage of the popularity of "Super Smash Bros. Melee".

i used to play the game a lot with my older brother, back on the xbox. i played Orga, he played either Destoroyah, Megalon, or Kiryu, and we'd beat the snot out of Gigan
