Monster Hunter Wilds coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Capcom confirmed Monster Hunter Wilds is in development for Nintendo Switch 2, announcing the move after unveiling the Ascendance expansion at Summer Game Fest. Ascendance, slated for 2027, is a major expansion that adds Master Rank, new Elder Dragons, the Skybound Eyrie area, Boost Bracer actions, and other gameplay improvements. Bringing Wilds and Ascendance to Switch 2 widens the game's availability to Nintendo's next-generation portable hardware and puts those new features in the hands of Switch players.

Switch 2 running Monster Hunter Wilds (unless they somehow found a way to fix the low resolution, LOD, & performance problems the game had on launch on both PC and Consoles)
they should make a good monster hunter for switch 2
While I really hope we get a Rise successor on Switch 2 I am so excited for this, unlike most people I absolutely LOVE Monster Hunter Wilds, I hope it launches in a better state than the PC version but Monster Hunter belongs on a handheld and I will absolutely buy it again
Nintendo Switch 2 Has All The GAMESSSSSSSSSSS
Honestly I'm pretty interested in seeing how this one runs. The Switch 2 does have DLSS, so maybe it'll perform better than the Series S version?
A game by the portable series team would've been nice too..... I've been having sunbreak GL withdrawals....
They should port World to Switch 2 first tbh. That'd definitely run great and probably give the devs some more experience getting demanding games on the console.
I assume this involves rolling up their sleeves and showing Capcom how to fucking port
For some reason this reminded me that Borderlands 4 was supposed to come out on Switch 2.
Should have made an exclusive one instead
hey sorry I was asleep and this was sent to me so much I woke up I know AC6 only because it was heavily posted alongside GWitch when I got into gundam and this looks like *that* like way more than gundam to me *weird* could be the "ibo monster hunter" I've clamored for just without the ibo though
it's also got like fucking doom music what the hell is this game kjzhdfbhjvzd
the mechanical design feels soo odd for gundam, this one really just doesn't vibe with the machine art direction being used for "Gundam"
Yeah, it's very "AC6 did amazing, we have a robot franchise too, our last few games haven't done well, let's just do that!" Also, Helix reminds me a lot of Eight, especially the head design. I think giving it the traditional colors would go a long way towards making it feel "more Gundam".
