Former Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow, 78, announced he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and will document his experience in a new film. Snow served as Channel 4 News lead presenter for 32 years and remains a familiar figure in British journalism. The Alzheimer's Society confirmed he has the most common form of dementia and the film will follow him navigating diagnosis and daily life. I read Jon Snow’s autobiography about twenty years ago and he came off like a nice, pleasant and well meaning - if not necessarily flawless - person. I wish him all the best, it’s a cruel disease.
