Doja Cat brands Elon Musk 'barrel-chested Ewok' in X post

techJun 4, 2026544,341

Doja Cat, the Grammy-nominated singer, called Elon Musk a "barrel-chested Ewok" on X while urging him to restore the platform's audio-posts feature. She said creators used audio posts to share voice clips and music samples, arguing the removal took away a visible outlet many artists relied on. The public jab highlights creator frustration and increases pressure on X to reinstate audio tools musicians and podcasters use.

At least 10 Trump officials hold as much as $43.8M in stock in Elon Musk's SpaceX or in xAI. That means the SpaceX IPO — which will make Musk a trillionaire — would also directly enrich Trump's lackeys. SpaceX has been boosted by over $10B in government contracts since 2025. See the problem here?

Illegal activities, confiscated and use to pay down the debt. 💥💥NO ONE IN GOVERNMENT SHOULD HOLD ANY STOCKS!! (including 2 years AFTER they leave office)💥💥 Dont like it? DONT be a government employee....!

Ariana Niko18

The question isn’t whether SpaceX is a great company. The question is whether officials who can influence policy should be financially tied to the same company receiving billions in government contracts. Those are two very different debates.

Raucous Cowboy10

Government contracts which Musk illegally and directly gave himself when he was in doge….. See the problem here?

It's wild how quickly a billionaire doing two nazi salutes can be forgotten...

Yes we do see the problem. Investment Experts Condemn Elon Musk’s SpaceX Stock IPO Launch — Based on $4.9 billion Loss by SpaceX — as ‘Coup’ and ‘100% Fraud’ newsvideoclip.com/investment-e...

Enemy of the State7

Would SpaceX even be a thing without massive government funding? If it belongs to anyone, it's the people.

Aster Vérité6

Another problem... Musk couldn't handle a loss of control over his child, so he spent $44 Billion USD to buy control over public discourse, turning a domestic grievance into a global corp vendetta. Trust me, I've seen some shit, but I've never seen public psychopathic rage on such a scale before.

Ron Dorland ©️🇺🇸🇺🇦6

And what do taxpayers have to show for SpaceX failure? Has Musk achieved anything with his rockets because NASA just sent astronauts around the moon and back. I would rather have a well funded NASA and Musk in South Africa.

The Resistance 🚫👑🚫🧊4

He’s a government handout recipient, probably the biggest in history

Yes, another treasonous way they're stealing taxpayer money. Would be great if the military honored their oath and arrested Krasnov & his treasonous minions in the WH, Congress, SCOTUS and the Cabinet.

End the income tax on low and middle class. Corporate wants to raid tax funds let them raid their own taxed money

Oh yeah. We see the problem.

Cap'm Kickass2

I saw the problem four words into your post.

ELIZE2

You're hitting on a classic case of crony capitalism. Where government contracts and public funds fuel private wealth, and loyalty is bought with stock options.

wahusk.bsky.social2

Yes. And the only space program with demonstrated results over time (other than putting up self-serving satellites and most certainly getting this country beyond earth-bound) remains NASA. Musk and Bezos must be removed from the government trough.

Gill2

Just FYI here in UK, our Prime Minister has yet again had to call out Musk for “interfering “ in our political discourse. We are frankly sick & tired of US beta males inserting themselves into our lives.

And they’re still blowing up on the launch pad

Mr Pump walks into the room, walks over to Mr Dump and they embrace. Somehow the stacks in their pockets multiply and begin to overflow onto the floor around them, as they climb the pile to remain in free air. The stack grows to a height of about 12 feet and topples them both into the Koi pond.

The people fast tracking SpaceX into the Nasdaq and SP500 should be sued for gross negligence. And we need to sue anyone index funds that include SpaceX for gross negligence.

This is how the stock market works for *them* they all just move their money around and “invest” in themselves or each other. See how that works?

sunbirdie.bsky.social2

Does anyone know if Musk and the rest of the executive officers and directors are subject to a six-month lockup (which is standard in an IPO)?

keesiemom4.bsky.social2

Us normal Americans see the problem. But the GOP doesn’t.

sbharvey.bsky.social2

There is another interesting aspect of this IPO is that SpaceX (Illicit Musk) want to reserve 30% of the shares for retail investors. Musk has a big following in the retail investor community. Kind of like 🟠💩 MAGA supporters.

SarahAndCo2

SpaceX is a Ponzi scheme and will fuck 401Ks when the market crashes. European funds have banned investments in the IPO.

it's kind of hard to escape the conclusion that the entire spacex IPO is just a way for Elon Musk to financial engineer a huge, distributed theft from index fund holders?

Rudely Van Gelder31

I need to make sure my 401k has absolutely *zero* of this X crap in it, under it, orbiting it, or in any way within 1000 lightyears of it.

Silly B Man21

Yes. I’m telling everyone who will listen to switch to non-US index funds. This is a giant scam being run on US index funds by a coterie of finance professionals in the halls of power.

wowthatscoolmyguy.bsky.social13

It's one of those things that's so obvious that you assume it shouldn't work It's a guy walking into a bank and announcing "all of the money in the bank belongs to me". You think "ahahah, what a crazy guy" but then staff escorts him to collect it because it turns out they're incentivized to do so

David M8

The same Grok which is so popular that SpaceX is renting out its GPU capacity to Anthropic?

Catsculptor6

Also for him to wriggle out of all his other companies hemorraging money by packaging them all up under the spacex name

Kevin6

Morningstar has come out and said this is overvalued. Is there any kind of pressure campaign happening with Vanguard, Fidelity, or other big index funds firms to do something to protect their customers?

Jack5

I will sign onto a class action the second this shit IPOs

Rich Burroughs4

Rolling Tesla and X up into it too. Buyers get all of his terrible businesses for one very inflated price.

C.V. Danes3

It's certainly kind of hard to escape the conclusion that the entire spacex IPO is just a way for the banks and exchanges to financial engineer a huge, distributed theft in the form of huge IPO fees.

Mark Shatraw3

I have yet to hear anybody argue otherwise although this is not the website for it lol

Loren Ipsum3

@gork does this valuation seem shady?

esouthard3

He definitely worked the refs with the index providers, which is not part of the standard IPO playbook

Theo Landsman3

Hard to imagine the index funds would be going along with it without Tesla as an example of how they'd eventually get dragged along anyway and the structural weirdness of the perma-bull market.

Grasso figlio di puttana2

It’s all just pixie dust and wishes.

OddEvens 🔜 Toxic Yuri VN Jam2

Yes, he’s trying to multiply his personal wealth at basically no risk to himself and with the money coming out of every 401k in the country

Musk, already the richest person in the world, is about to become the world's first trillionaire due to the upcoming SpaceX IPO with a valuation of $1.75 trillion. Regardless of your view on capitalism, I don’t think anyone should be worth $1 trillion. #TaxTheRich people.com/elon-musk-co...
