'Captain Clutch' nickname sticks to Jalen Brunson after Game 1
Jalen Brunson hit late big shots as the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-95 in Game 1 in San Antonio. Brunson sparked an 11-0 closing run, including a tipped possession that led to his go-ahead three-pointer, to seal the win. That sequence and his late-game poise have cemented the 'Captain Clutch' nickname and give New York momentum heading into Game 2.
I hope Victor Wembanyama and Jalen Brunson develop the greatest height gap rivalry the league has ever seen.
I have this picture of a dachshund chasing a Great Dane for times just like this
We’ve got height gap friendships, but you’re right, this rivalry needs to launch
The NHL had a fun version of this for many years
ty for an excuse to take this out of my recycle bin
Quite interested to know what, and who, Jalen Brunson is so pissed at. Felt like it was half on his mind as he was going through that postgame interview with Salters.
Yeah he looked back behind the scorers table after the interview and shook.his head. Then it seemed like he was hoping someone would say anything to him on his way back to the locker room.
After the buzzer it didn’t look like he was thanking Scott Foster for calling a good game
Apparently, he had a lot of words for Scott Foster, the lead ref.
Someone has to know cuz I feel like he dribbled it out over there on purpose
