That's a stupid excuse for withholding information. You could make that argument about any food contamination. E.coli, salmonella, listeria in veg, meat, cheese. They're all "known" risks, which is why we have inspections and Health Departments. It's their job to protect the public, not the company.

If you drink raw milk then you should expect that there is a great possibility that you and your family can become sick. I grew up on a dairy farm. We had a pasteurizer in our kitchen. It wasn't because of our hygiene it was because it is smart to do so since there are many unforeseeable issues.

Its not that hard to figure out. Cows’ udders are constantly inhabited by fecal bacteria. In addition, they get sores on them which get infected and the bacteria on the sores, or in the pus goes into raw milk. That’s why we’ve been pasteurizing milk and other dairy products for over a century.

Yep. Having been on a working dairy farm - can confirm. Cows poop and they don't really give much thought as to where they do it. Which means it kinda gets everywhere and that's why you wear boots and why those boots NEVER GO IN THE HOUSE.
