TCM Party screens The Big Sleep (1946), watch‑party posts
Turner Classic Movies hosted a TCM Party screening of Howard Hawks's The Big Sleep (1946), starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Dorothy Malone. During the watch party viewers posted quotes such as "You begin to interest me... vaguely," shared stills praising Dorothy Malone's sultry half smile, and one attendee noted they have watched the film about 70 times. Participants also pointed to a Nicolas Cage Spider-Noir homage to the book-collector scene, highlighting how The Big Sleep's lines and visual moments continue to influence later films and pop culture.

That should be the republican party slogan!!
Amazing movie! Bogart and Bacall! And it's playing next week at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC!
can you get that playing in Times Square, where more people can see it every day? lol
One I have not watched, loved Bogart in The Maltese Falcon.
That's a favorite movie, and a really nice scene. I like Agnes' "pain in the ass" comments.
Thank you for reminding me to rewatch this film!
I wish curtains on archways would make a comeback.
