Trailer released for Adam Wingard's Onslaught

A24 released the first trailer for Onslaught, Adam Wingard's new action-horror starring Adria Arjona and Dan Stevens, which opens in theaters September 4. The trailer frames Arjona as a sniper mother WHO must protect her young daughter from a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers running loose in the desert. Wingard co-wrote the story with Simon Barrett and assembled a supporting cast that includes Rebecca Hall, Drew Starkey, Michael Biehn, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson and former UFC star Alex Pereira. The film marks Wingard's return to the lean, cult-leaning action-horror of You're Next and The Guest and gives A24 a high-octane genre release for the fall.
