Very surprised Eckert is going to keep his job, less because of the spying but more the pressure he put interns under to do it (not to mention its cost his club potentially £200m)

Southampton may not intend to sack their spygate manager but the matter should be taken out of their hands with the FA imposing a ban on him. Anything other than that will encourage others to do similar. It doesn't matter what is common practice elsewhere, that's no defence here.

More victim blaming from Southampton. Dragan Solak pretty much saying the intern should have said ‘no’ louder. 😳 Arguing to keep the same manager and senior team responsible for the mess — with the same petulant ‘we were wronged’ attitude about the punishment — shows no contrition or class.
