Can we start including women in the boys club? I adore a lot of these guys, but there are women who are being excluded, even by them. Colbert platformed 4 to 5 men for each woman in his last two weeks. If we’re going to fix what’s wrong with this country, it needs to include the patriarchy.

Comedians are not journalists. The best journalists are journalists. They do original reporting. Comedians may well be the best *observers* of our time, which is important but not the same. Like op-ed columnists, they comment on the news that journalists investigate and report.
