Pete Crow-Armstrong launched a 444-foot, 114.6 mph solo home run off Cardinals reliever Gordon Graceffo in the eighth inning. He finished 4-for-5 with two runs scored as the Chicago Cubs beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 in St. Louis. Statcast measured the blast as the hardest-hit ball of Crow-Armstrong's career and the ball landed in the Cardinals' supporter section. The homer was his seventh of the season and underscored growing power from the Cubs' center fielder, giving Chicago more late-game insurance.
