Claude Lemieux's family announced his brain will be donated to Boston University's CTE Center for study following his death at 60. The former NHL forward was a four-time Stanley Cup champion and built a reputation for a hard-hitting playing style. Daughter Claudia Lemieux Bishop released the family's statement, which son Brendan Lemieux also circulated. Boston University's CTE Center will examine the brain for signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy to help researchers understand long-term effects of repetitive head trauma and inform player-safety efforts.
