Minecraft Live at TwitchCon Europe announced the sequel's official title as A Minecraft Movie Squared and set its theatrical release for July 23, 2027. Organizers opened a fan build challenge where the winner will attend a private screening with friends and could have their build included in the movie or end credits. The event also previewed new biomes and new Minecraft Dungeons II details, with Mojang tying game updates to the film franchise to encourage cross-media participation.

I wonder how destructive people watching this in the theaters are going to be over this one after the whole chicken jockey saga from the 1st movie 🎬. I doubt it will be as bad as that but who knows will just have to wait and see until 2027 i guess.
