Paul McCartney releases 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane'
Paul McCartney, 83, released his 18th solo LP, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, this Friday. The album is an autobiographical collection of songs and marks McCartney's first new solo record in more than five years. McCartney mines formative flirtations, family singalongs and even his own birth for lyrical detail, and names old bandmates and Oasis among his inspirations. The record offers revealing glimpses into McCartney's life at a late career peak and reinforces his six decade contribution to pop songwriting.
I’ll allow it. (I am also 100% sure I know who the “some guy” is that Sir Paul is referring to. 🤣) www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...
You can hear one of Prince’s live performances of the song here: youtu.be/OFECb6nStd0 This is the same band of his that played his Oscar party that I went to; they’re great with a bluesy rock number, this could have done with a guitar solo instead of this more jazzy arrangement.
wait so you have also hung out with Paul McCartney??
will prince's vault ever be empty
