Trump seeks gag order for every federal employee
President Trump is seeking a governmentwide gag order that would require every federal employee to sign nondisclosure agreements banning them from speaking about their government work. The proposal would extend secrecy across the federal workforce and restrict disclosures that currently enable whistleblowers and public reporting. It would limit what inspectors general, the Office of Special Counsel, the Office of Government Ethics, and other oversight officials can disclose. The measure would create broad cover for corruption and mismanagement by silencing potential witnesses and whistleblowers.
Trump is trying to slap NDAs on federal workers because apparently the “law and order” guy is terrified of government employees telling the truth. Nothing screams “innocent” like trying to gag the witnesses.
