Price increase is due to ai driving up hardware prices. I wouldn't bat an eye for hardware price increases but pushing games to $80 is far more agregious. No game is worth $80. I wouldn't even buy gta6 for 80

Genuinely wonder if part of it is because Steam is also on pc as is, so there less of a point to say just pirate the games. You don’t need to because you don’t NEED the system. But what I do wanna know is how the hell it’s all sold out at that price.

I’d attribute that to the walled garden nature of Nintendo. You need to buy into the system if you want to play their games. The deck is nice but ultimately unneeded hardware. You can skip it all together if you have any moderately good computer around already which quite a few people do.

Once again don't think it's really valves fault...people keep wording it like that and it gives the impression that they decided on this. Not you know, a known issue thanks to AI and Bitcoin morons jacking up the prices of hardware.
