Kenneth Iwamasa sentenced to 41 months in Matthew Perry ketamine case
Kenneth Iwamasa, 60, was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison for his role in the ketamine-related death of actor Matthew Perry. Iwamasa pleaded guilty in August 2024 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death and was also ordered to two years' supervised release and a $10,000 fine. Iwamasa told the court he "will forever regret" his actions, and prosecutors said his provision of ketamine directly led to Perry's fatal overdose, highlighting criminal liability for supplying powerful anesthetics.
Breaking News: The assistant who injected Matthew Perry with the ketamine that killed him was sentenced to more than three years in prison. He is the last of the five people charged in connection with Perry’s death.
This seems unfair. The guy was an employee doing what the boss told him to do. The person ultimately responsible for Matthew Perry's demise was Matthew Perry.
I'm glad he was charged and since he is the last one I hope this is the last time I have to see a Matthew Perry story.
