seeing people brag about Project Hail mary being "apolitical" is a little funny. you have to wonder WHY people are craving a hamfistedly optimistic movie right now. a lot of those reasons are very very political!

Project Hail Mary took me by surprise recently. Very weepy. But my favorite experience was Past Lives, the ending. Still can’t explain what compels it, but there’s true sobbing at that one.

I agree that seeing everything get fandom-ified online can be annoying and exhausting but I got a video ranting about project hail mary animatics in my recs and I'm sorry but how pressed do you have to be to take the time to make a video about it. Does it matter to you that much

Project Hail Mary definitely earns the praise, EXTREMELY solid sci-fi movie However, 7.5/10 for me, minus 2.5 points because they give the alien a deeply unsatisfying voice and it bothered me the entire time, great movie otherwise
