Trump makes third Walter Reed hospital visit in 13 months
President Donald Trump made his third medical visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center within 13 months, undergoing a scheduled checkup. This visit follows two earlier Walter Reed exams and comes after his return to the White House, when clinicians and commentators raised questions about his condition. Officials called the appointment a routine checkup and did not announce any new diagnoses or treatments. Because the president's physical and cognitive fitness affect national security and governance, calls for greater medical transparency have intensified.
Trump is set to visit Walter Reed on Tuesday for his 3rd checkup in 13 months. Asked about the visit, White House officials touted reports Trump is in "exceptional" health. Outside physicians said there are legitimate health questions about the nearly 80-year-old president.
Among their Qs: — bruises on hands — swelling in legs — drowsiness Some say Trump’s explanations aren’t credible. “This White House just doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge any physical ailment, but older people develop medical issues,” said Jonathan Reiner, a cardiologist for VP Dick Cheney.
Ah yes, his quarterly annual physical
I am perpetually amazed how little the DC press corps cares about his mangled hand that looks like he’s been getting regular IV infusions, for basically his whole term. Press sec said “too many handshakes” and they just accepted that and moved on. What’s in the damn IV?
Why does he constantly have IV bruises in both hands? If Joe Biden had those bruises *and* had a good explanation for it the media would still have made a scandal out of it, like the Parkinson's thing.
I don't even know why legitimate journalists "ask [the White House] about the visit". Any response from this WH will be a complete and utter lie. As long as 🍊🤡 is breathing, they will say he's in "exceptional health".
Donald Trump’s “dowager hump” - thoracic kyphosis - is clearly visible. All systems — especially mental health—appear to be failing — to American voters.
Ever noticed this guy in exceptional health can't stand up straight?
He doesn’t look well and looks a wreck. His father had Alzheimer’s in his early 80s.
Exceptional health my foot. He lean stands, he wears bronzer, he doesn’t speak in coherent or complete sentences. Oh, yeah, he’s a racist, bigot, felon, pedophile, grifting criminal
It sure seems he is being treated for something.
Dang I was close, off by a day: bsky.app/profile/robv...
Because I am in exceptional health I go to the doctor every three months, you should see me when I’m sick
The truth is that older people have a lot of doctor's appointments. This wouldn't seem like a big deal if they didn't lie all the time.
Hopefully it will be the LAST checkup of his term.
When my doctors tell me that they don’t want to wait for a year they want to see me every four months, that is always a great sign. Right?
Just a little sleepy, I’m sure.
'exceptional' means out of the ordinary, not superior, as they'd like you to believe.
I was a caregiver for my elderly mom. The only reason for a “checkup” every 3 months is if he has a chronic health condition(s). They wouldn’t do it that often if he was healthy.
Genuine question: do they do basic physician follow ups at the White House? Like if someone needed a 2 week blood pressure check that doesn’t require going to Walter Reed, right? Is it only for visits that need their equipment and specialty?
DOJ gonna end up suing the doctor who pronounces him dead.
I'll believe Trump is in "exceptional" health when I see a (non-AI) video of him riding a bike.
On April 30, 2026, medical experts who believe President Donald Trump is “mentally unfit” to perform his duties had a letter outlining their concerns submitted to the congressional record. www.congress.gov/congressiona...
Diabetes & high blood pressure usually have quarterly exams to monitor medication. Dementia is “as needed”. COPD? CHF? Someone needs to “leak” the info accidentally on purpose.
As that bizarre doctor reported in 2015, all of his tests showed "only positive results".
He really is something out of a Ralph Steadman painting.
Reporters must start asking specific questions: Is POTUS being treated for dementia? Is the bruising on his hands from infusions? What medication(s) is he receiving by IV? Name all the medications he takes on a regular basis. Will you provide results of all tests to independent docs? ETC.
"Exceptional" is an interesting word choice. Interesting they didn't say excellent.
I mean sure, if you overlook the obvious mental status issues, obesity, coronary artery disease, unsteady gait and possible late stage syphillis, he’s in exceptional health.
His health is exceptionally bad, they mean.
Reporters must know the White House is just lying its ass off about everything. I heard a good quote from Tim Miller: "I could spin diarrhea into a chocolate cake." These White House guys are nowhere near that good.
He’s fucking obese. There is no way this fat fuck is in “excellent health”.
I don't know about you but the only times I've gotten that many checkups for anything in a year is after a bout with breast cancer. (Fortunately that was 13 years ago). Not saying that's what he has, but that's a lot of "checkups" for someone, even an old guy, who claims that he's very healthy.
An exceptional decline in health. We all see it even as they deny it.
More weasel words. Exceptional doesn't mean good, it means unusual or outside the norm. We just typically use it to describe something that's better than average.
On top of everything else wrong with him, does the old, deteriorating fuck have osteoporosis? He's gotten awfully hunched. 🤔
People in exceptional health don’t have rotting hands that need to be plastered in makeup.
Well to be fair, Trump's health is exceptional...exceptionally bad and exceptionally lucky he's still breathing. Once he's gone, the MDs who have lied about his health problems to the public should have their licenses to practice permanently revoked (just like his lawyers should be disbarred).
Exceptional doesn't necessarily mean good. "Trump has exceptional symptoms of dementia"
The is a man who’s always done just as he pleased. He has no reason to eat healthy food, challenge his mental functions, exercise, maintain positive social relationships— indeed any of the things seniors are urged to do for a long, happy life. At this point I’m not sure we should urge him to change.
Well I hope it’s nothing trivial!
“exceptional” is one of those double-edged words that people use when they describe something that’s unusually bad but want it to sound unusually good.
No way Trump is in "exceptional" health, especially when he constantly dozes off on camera, goes on unhinged tirades nearly every night, he slurs his speech... He is showing clear, consistent signs of physical and mental breakdown, and his staff keeps pretending he's like Jack LaLanne or something.
this is the third first half of his annual physical checkup so far this year.
Don't worry, Jake Tapper will get to the bottom of this, just like he did with Joe Biden.
Hey you fucking tool @jaketapper.bsky.social you got a book in the works yet or what
Waiting now to hear how fast he does the 40 and how high his vertical jump.
Anyone who sleeps as erratically as trump, and who is maniacal about posting on his social media platform at all hours of night and day, is NOT in "excellent health."
He's also had 3 "dentist" appointments this year too.
Third checkup... But how many times has he sought medical attention beyond those three times?
Except for this, except for that, his health is great.
is this why he couldn't travel to his son's wedding?
I hope he dies of whatever chronic illness he has.
Oh he’s an exception to health alright.
How much damage has the stroke(s) done? Note the sag on the right side of his mouth.
Who cares? The Carcass of Hate will eventually succumb to his own shame and vicious racism. His end will be euphoric and it will set off celebrations like this world has never seen.
What equipment is at Walter Reed that is not at the White House medical facility? Knowing that may point to the reason what health issues he has.
“Legitimate health questions?” Yes, like why is he still here?
“Exceptional” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there isn’t it.
Dr Jeffrey Kuhlman, who treated former Presidents Clinton, W. Bush, and Obama, said Trump's chronic venous insufficiency diagnosis was absent from his April and October 2025 medical reports.
Sick in both body and mind . . .
Can't wait for trump to return from his third visit to Walter Reed this year and start bragging about how he aced the cognitive test because he could tell a camel different from a cow.
"Camels have humps. Beautiful humps. No other animal has humps. I say, 'Look at that hump.' Hump has a 'p' in it - many people don't know that. It's a new word, hump, a beautiful word..."
"And did you bring your 'Walter Reed Frequent Visitors' card with you, so we can punch it? You know, just three more and that entitles you to a FREE visit."
I’m waiting with baited breath… NOT!
He still can't tell a camel from a dromedary. 🤷♂️
I can identify a camel! Previously: I can identify a squirrel! I hope they throw a shark in there to scare the bejesus out of him.
Because of his genius, the doc is going to ask Trump if he won the Iran war just like he won the 2020 election.
