Kimi Antonelli wins Canadian Grand Prix, extends title lead

Kimi Antonelli won the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, his fourth consecutive victory, and extended his Formula 1 championship lead to 43 points. George Russell retired with a suspected power unit failure, ending a weekend in which he secured sprint pole and win and took Grand Prix pole before his car failed, Mercedes confirmed. Russell called his on-track battle with Antonelli "great" and "like the karting days"; Antonelli's streak now gives him a commanding cushion that reshapes the title fight.

i love how Kimi Antonelli always behaves like a kid invited into the teachers' staff room after the race in the cooldown room. Dude won the race, but he's visibly sat there between Max and Lewis being all: "Be cool. Be cool. Be cool. You're a grown-up. Be cool. Be cool."
