Major Russian missile and drone barrage hits Kyiv overnight
Ukraine's Air Force said Russia launched 90 missiles and 600 drones in an attack on Kyiv that lasted several hours, injuring 86 people and damaging dozens of locations. President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the strike site in Lukyanivka, thanked rescuers and condemned the attackers using profanity-laced language. Educational and cultural sites were hit, including damage to the American University Kyiv campus, marking Kyiv's largest number of damaged locations since the full-scale invasion began. The scale of the barrage demonstrates Russia's growing use of mass missile and drone strikes against urban civilian infrastructure, further straining Ukraine's air defenses and emergency services.
🇺🇦 Crazy assholes! — this is how President Zelenskyy commented on today's Russian attack on Kyiv and the region.
A real president That's why Trump hates him so much
This powerful statement is equal to that of Brigadier General Mac Auliffe in surrounded Bastogne December 1944 when hearing about the German demand to surrender: Nuts!
And that's putting it mildly. Next drone swarm -> Kremlin and War Ministry.
God damn Putin…just die already…
all its payback time. magyarbirds this is your cue

ruSSia is evil. #ruSSiaIsATerroristState #stopruSSia
with a cost per missile estimated between 30 and 100 millions usd, i think it's a very good idea russia decided to increase its production...
Knock out all ground stations that assist or control the guidance of the ballistic missiles. If possible jam or spoof the guidance signals.
Not impressed by the BBC's coverage of what was possibly the largest Russian attack on Kyiv of the war yet. It reads like copy/paste text. Ugh. A symptom of the declining media interest in Russia's war on Ukraine. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Rosenberg was reporting it as retaliation
You’re right it is pretty blah. It’s still better than this NPR piece. For one thing, they cite Putin’s false claim abt Ukraine hitting a college dorm without any counterclaim. www.npr.org/2026/05/24/n...
That's at least partly because the first release had the missile pegged at 10x the speed of light... BBC verify my arse!!!
