The actual shooting location: A gunman was killed in a shootout with the Secret Service outside the White House Complex on Saturday after he pulled out a gun and started firing at officers. A bystander was also hit. The shooting occurred at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, just after 6 p.m.

“The shooting happened shortly after 6pm when a male approached the Secret Service checkpoint at 17th Street & Pennsylvania Avenue NW, pulled a gun from a bag and opened fire on officers, the Secret Service said in a statement.” Shooter died of his wounds in hospital. Uncertain who shot bystander.

Nobody shot at Trump. A person who has previously been removed from the grounds exchanged gunfire with secret service. Trump was nowhere around. Nobody was shooting at Trump.

Today's shooting clearly shows why no security around a ballroom is necessary. Secret Service did their job. No need for additional security measures unless the dirty old man sets up another fake assassination attempt and then only to protect the reporters.
