Nikolaj Ehlers scored 3:29 into overtime to lift the Carolina Hurricanes to a 3-2 Game 2 win over the Montreal Canadiens, evening the Eastern Conference Final series 1-1. Mark Jankowski and Jalen Chatfield earned the assists as Ehlers finished the play past goalie Jakub Dobeš. The goal was Ehlers's second of the night and capped another high-impact shift from Carolina's third line. Labrador_Redge3Kapanen should have got it deep. That was the mistake. The counter attack was quick and it was a great shot by Ehlers off of his wrong foot which might have thrown Dobes off a bit. Habs never came out flying which surprised me. Got the split so that's good.
