Thoughts on Nikolaj Ehlers’ Canes OT winner vs the Habs? 🤔
I do not care about the goal, I just want Hutson to be ok.
Kap had to get it deep. Take a hit, get it deep and get a change. Usually routine but he didn’t get it done. Dobson looked slow and he didn’t react well. Not sure how long he was on the ice. And Dobes came out to cut the angle but an elite Ehlers shot ends it. Tough loss. On to game 3
Bad turnover by Kapanen. Dobson too slow to react. Shit happens. Let's go get game #3
Mistake from Kapanen (Veleno comes back) Mistake form Dobson Good shot from Ehlers
If you’re going to change lines, change lines or don’t, and when you’re the goalie, stay in your crease unless you know you’re going to make the right play. That goal should not have happened, all parties are to blame. That being said, young teams learn the hard way. #GoHabsGo
Kapanen should have got it deep. That was the mistake. The counter attack was quick and it was a great shot by Ehlers off of his wrong foot which might have thrown Dobes off a bit. Habs never came out flying which surprised me. Got the split so that's good.
Soffftt play by Kapanen there
The two goals we scored were straight up crash and bang goals. Yes we pass well. Yes we have some beautiful plays. Maybe against this team we need a little more muscle when appropriate.
