Star Trek title generator spawns community title‑card memes
The website trek.epicrandomness.com lets anyone generate era-accurate Star Trek episode title cards in seconds, and users have produced and shared dozens of invented episode titles. Outputs range from straightforward TNG-style names to surreal crossovers such as "Passing Through Gethsemane," which pairs a mock synopsis about a kindly monk with a cameo-style line like "Lyta Alexander returns to Babylon 5." The generator reproduces period fonts and layouts from Original Series through Voyager, giving fans an easy, shareable way to parody, remix, or imagine previously unseen episodes.
It's interesting that the best Star Trek series is the one where they hardly go anywhere.
Not sure if I agree that DS9 is the best Star Trek, but it was damn good. 👍 🖖
To boldly stay where we’ve been before
Muting this thread, I ain't debating, just thought it was a funny observation.
every star trek series is the best that's what non-trekkies don't get, and an easy way to spot fake trekkies even slop like lower decks is the best for teenagers even the low-brow orville is the best show for stoners
I think it offered such a huge amount of opportunity for the story to focus on the people they already had on DS9, instead of opting for a new "alien of the week" approach TNG often went for. By the end of the show the main cast and even side characters were so realised, and they all mattered.
