Troy Ryan has been named PWHL San Jose’s General Manager and Head Coach. Don't love this move for two reasons. Takes away an opportunity (that I personally prefer at least one go to a woman), and Troy Ryan's lack of success in the league thus far. Feels like failing up. #PWHL

my perception of Troy Ryan the PWHL coach is tainted because I watched him make zero adjustments and blow a 2-0 lead to Minnesota after being one of the most offensively dangerous teams that season we should’ve won the Cup year one

If Troy Ryan is really headed to SJ, let me put forth Vicky Sunohara as his replacement in Toronto. Currently coaches at U of T and is head coach for U18 Canada program. Is amazing working with younger players (important over then next 3-4 years), and has the resumé and respect of the vets. #pwhl
