Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak was cheered during a commencement speech at Grand Valley State University after telling graduates they have "actual intelligence" (AI). While other speakers were booed for discussing AI, Wozniak encouraged students to "think different."

So there's been a few commencement speakers who've been booed for talking about AI (in a positive light). However there's been at least two who who've talked about AI and were not booed, Steve Wozniak and Magic Johnson. Because they didn't praise AI.
