i’ve seen screenshots of kyle busch invoking the constitution to complain about NASCAR being mean to him but the full clip is breathtaking. he had the greatest villain run in american sports this century and i’m not taking counter suggestions

Last week Kyle Busch won his 69th Truck Series race and they asked why it never gets old. His answer: “Because you never know when the last one is.” Today Kyle Busch died at 41. That line just hit different. Rest easy, Rowdy.

I’ve been lucky enough to sit in on press availability in the NASCAR media center for a few races. Nobody commanded the room with his presence in there quite like Kyle Busch. You never had to guess what he was thinking. He’d let you know without hesitation. The fan in me treasured those moments.
